Porofessor alternatives that run in a browser
Porofessor's live game lookup already works in a browser. The part that needs an install is the overlay, which is distributed as an Overwolf app, so installing Porofessor means running Overwolf in the background too.
If that is what you are trying to avoid, you have real options, and they split cleanly by what you want. Overlay in the client, or a page you can open on a phone next to your monitor. Nothing does both without an install, because an overlay is by definition software running on your machine.
What people are actually trying to escape
Worth being specific, because the answer depends on which one it is.
- A second background process. Overwolf is its own runtime with its own updater. On a machine that already stutters in teamfights, that is a real objection.
- Not being allowed to install things. Work laptop, shared machine, a network that blocks the installer.
- Wanting the information on a phone. A lot of people scout on a second screen and never wanted an overlay in the first place.
- Not trusting overlays generally. Fair, and worth reading the section on Riot's rules further down before you decide.

The table is the honest shape of it. Nobody here is strictly better than everyone else, and the sites that claim otherwise are usually selling something.
Where each one is genuinely better than us
A comparison where the author wins every row is not worth reading, so here is the real version.
Porofessor is better if you want an overlay. Jungle camp timers, in-client reminders and build notes while you are playing are things a website fundamentally cannot do. If you like the overlay, keep it.
Blitz is better if what you want is to stop building your own runes. The automatic import at champion lock is genuinely convenient and no website can do it, because a website cannot type into your client.
Mobalytics is better after the game. Their post-match breakdown is deeper than anything we produce, and we are not trying to compete with it.
op.gg is better as a reference. If you want a player's full history, rank graph and every game they have played on a champion, that is what op.gg is for and it does it better than anyone.
LaneDiff is better in exactly one situation: the sixty seconds between the game starting and the loading screen ending, on whatever device is nearest, with no install. That is the whole product, and it is why it reads as ten short verdicts rather than as ten stat sheets.
What none of them can do
See names in ranked champion select. Riot removed them in patch 12.22, and the opponent info coming to Ranked 5s is not coming to solo queue. Every tool in this list starts working at the same moment, which is when the game actually starts.
Show you enemy ultimate cooldowns. A policy change in March 2025 withdrew that feature. When a tool falls outside Riot's rules, the consequence lands on the app's API access rather than on your account (PCGamesN covered the wider third-party crackdown).
Be a reason you get banned, if they are policy compliant. Porofessor, Blitz and op.gg all operate on approved Riot API access. The line Riot draws is around overlays that make decisions for you, tracking players who have opted out of visibility, and advertising inside the game client.
Which one to pick
- You want an overlay and you do not mind installing: Porofessor.
- You want your runes imported for you: Blitz.
- You want to understand a loss afterwards: Mobalytics.
- You want to look up a player properly: op.gg.
- You want to know who you are up against, right now, on your phone, without installing anything: LaneDiff.
Most people end up using two of these, which is fine. They are not really competitors so much as different moments in the same game.
